Activities
Center activities include the following types of initiatives:
- Use asset-based, capacity-building conceptual frameworks for examining and developing community linkage practices.
- Review and synthesize research findings from diverse fields to identify the characteristics and consequences of a variety of effective community linkage practices.
- Conduct research and evaluation studies examining the key characteristics and consequences of asset-based and capacity-building approaches to link children and their families with community resources and supports.
- Translate findings from evaluation and research efforts into practice guides for promoting the successful linkage of families with community resources.
- Provide training and technical assistance to program directors and practitioners to promote the adoption of these evidence-based practices.
- Produce products for dissemination of evidence-based practices.
